$51.05 - $76.60

We are seeking a dynamic Magnet Program Manager to lead professional practice excellence, inter‑professional collaboration, and system‑wide nursing transformation. This highly visible leadership role is ideal for a strategic nursing leader who is passionate about evidence‑based practice, quality outcomes, and advancing a culture of clinical excellence.
 

In this role, you will serve as a change agent and thought leader, guiding professional governance, supporting Magnet principles, and partnering with clinical leaders, nurse scientists, and academic affiliates to elevate nursing practice across the health system. You will inspire professional development, strengthen outcomes through data‑driven initiatives, and help shape the future of nursing through innovation, collaboration, and scholarship.
 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and coordinate Professional Governance and Magnet‑related initiatives across the health system
  • Drive evidence‑based practice, quality improvement, and reliable care models that improve patient and staff outcomes
  • Partner closely with nursing leaders and the Nurse Scientist to translate research into practice and support nursing inquiry
  • Inspire lifelong learning, professional development, and transformational leadership among clinical teams
  • Build strong inter‑professional relationships and collaborate with academic and professional organizations
  • Use data, metrics, and performance indicators to evaluate outcomes and strengthen nursing practice standards
  • Serve as a visible, approachable leader who communicates effectively with stakeholders at all levels
     

What You Bring

  • Graduation from an accredited College of Nursing
  • Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) required
  • Minimum 5 years of nursing leadership experience
  • Active RN license in North Carolina
  • Specialty or clinical administration certification (required within one year of hire)
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills
  • Strong analytical, coaching, and change‑management capabilities
