The site handles 100,000 tonnes of green waste and produces 45,000 tonnes of quality Compost which is nestled in a pretty wooded area. The facility also bags its products for retail sales.

What will you be doing?
Operating loading shovels for the movement of material, building windrows, and loading processing equipment and/or outgoing vehicles
Operating mobile and static screeners, feeding screening equipment to refine compost materials to specification
Operating mobile shredders/grinders to process incoming organic waste
Conduct pre-start checks and routine daily and weekly maintenance tasks on all machinery, including topping up fluids, greasing, and visual inspections for damage.
Maintain the cleanliness of all machinery.
Assist with the minor repair of static plant equipment
What are we looking for?
Strong understanding of workplace health and safety protocols
Proven experience operating heavy plant machinery, specifically loading shovels, within a production or waste management environment.
Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and fault-finding
