M&A manager (Energy stream)

Kyivstar extends the Business Development Office team with M&A and Strategic Partnership Creation Manager position.

This position is in charge of scouting M&A opportunities for the Company, managing M&A process from sourcing to deal closing and post-merger initial integration.

Role's scope:
·        Conduct continuous market-based research, track valuation trends and fundamentals in the interested sectors
·        Proactive scouting M&A opportunities the Company can use to enhance its competitive positions in core business and to growth non-organically with buyout of Energy generating\servicing companies
·        Establish and cultivate relevant networking
·        Engage potential targets in M&A deals or strategic partnerships
·        Build business cases, research potential synergies and perform company valuations to support transactions
·        Analyze transaction risks for potential transaction and develop mitigation measures
·        Lead project management of M&A process in all stages as target sourcing, negotiation, due diligence, transaction closing and post-merger integration
·        Advise management in reflecting findings in business cases and due diligence
·        Preparation of management presentations, memos, teasers and active assistance in preparation of transaction documents such as Term Sheets/SPA
·        Participate in initial planning of post-merger integration
·        Manage internal and external consultants’ teams involved in transactions
·        Ensure compliance with all project processes and procedures
 
Main requirements:
·        Relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, M&A transaction consulting, venture capital funds at least 3 years
·        Strong quantitative skills, cash flow modelling and valuation skills, accounting knowledge
·        Strong interpersonal skills and ability to articulate ideas
·        Solid project management experience with multiple stakeholders  
·        Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills
·        Ability to organize and manage numerous projects with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
·        Strong personal integrity - high ethical standards and judgment
·        Fluent in English
