As an M365 Engineer, you will design and implement secure Microsoft 365 solutions that enable seamless collaboration across the organization. You will lead architecture and requirements gathering sessions for the overall M365 tenant, and configure services like Entra, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Purview, and ensure compliance with security and governance standards. Your role includes creating governance standards, technical roadmaps, developing operational procedures, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performing, resilient platforms that support business continuity and innovation.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong capabilities in requirements gathering, solution design, and the implementation of robust, scalable, and secure collaboration services aligned with agency goals. Additionally, the ideal candidate has a proven record of providing technical guidance, mentoring team members, and ensuring successful project delivery.

Your application must demonstrate education and/or experience in the following:
(a) Seven (7) years of information systems experience in core Microsoft 365 administration expertise, Identity & Access Management expertise, and Security & Compliance expertise.
OR
(b) An Associate's degree* or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field;
AND
five (5) years of information systems experience in core Microsoft 365 administration expertise, Identity & Access Management expertise, and Security & Compliance expertise.
OR
(c) A Bachelor's degree* in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
AND
three (3) years of information systems experience in core Microsoft 365 administration expertise, Identity & Access Management expertise, and Security & Compliance expertise.
OR
(d) A Master's degree* in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
AND
one (1) year of information systems experience in core Microsoft 365 administration expertise, Identity & Access Management expertise, and Security & Compliance expertise.

The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect the additional 6%.
