You have solid depth of expertise in Microsoft 365 end-user services, with emphasis on identity, access, messaging, and authentication platforms. You show proficiency within your own job discipline and work independently on well-defined operational and engineering tasks. You will contribute to the resolution of complex issues related to Entra ID, Exchange Online, and SSO with guidance from senior engineers or technical leads.

You will improve customer, operational, project, and service objectives through reliable execution, secure configuration, and continuous improvement of Microsoft 365 services.

Location: You will be based in our Etobicoke office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Manager, End User Services II.

Posting Type: Replacement

Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $85,000 - $119,000.

Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

  • Provide hands-on administration, configuration, and engineering support for Microsoft 365 services, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient end-user access and collaboration.

  • Manage and support Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), including identity lifecycle management, group and role administration, Conditional Access, Azure MFA, and Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations.

  • Administer and support Exchange Online, including mail flow, transport rules, mailbox management, retention policies, and troubleshooting messaging-related incidents.

  • Support SSO integrations between Microsoft 365 and enterprise or third-party applications, ensuring secure authentication and seamless user access.

  • Support day-to-day operations, including business-as-usual service and change requests, incident investigation, remediation, troubleshooting, configuration, automation, and monitoring of Microsoft 365 and end-user productivity platforms.

  • Contribute to operational health by overseeing service availability, security posture, and performance, and by supporting remediation of identified issues.

  • Help with platform currency activities, service improvements, and reporting against defined SLAs for Microsoft 365 services.

  • Provide support for escalated incidents related to identity, authentication, messaging, and collaboration services, including complex end-user access and configuration issues.

  • Analyze recurring incidents related to M365, Entra ID, Exchange, and SSO, and help identify root causes and systemic improvements.

  • Contribute to the creation, documentation, and automation of Microsoft 365 operational procedures and service offerings to ensure support and consistency.

  • Participate in projects involving the deployment, configuration, and enhancement of Microsoft 365 services, identity solutions, and end-user collaboration platforms.

  • Collaborate with Information Security teams to support the secure configuration, testing, and deployment of identity and access controls across Microsoft 365.

  • Follow established technology standards, processes, and policies for end-user and Microsoft 365 services, ensuring compliance with Moneris corporate and security policies.

On-Call & Availability

Participation in a rotational on-call schedule is required to support 24/7 critical and production systems.

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree required; or equivalent practical work experience.

  • Minimum 4+ years of related experience supporting or engineering Microsoft 365, identity, and messaging platforms in an enterprise environment.

  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 tenants, with a focus on Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, and identity services.

  • Working knowledge of SSO technologies, including SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and integration of third-party applications with Entra ID.

  • Experience supporting Azure MFA, Conditional Access, identity governance, and access controls.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills for identity, authentication, mail flow, and access-related issues.

  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 collaboration services including Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

  • Familiarity with security and compliance features such as retention, data protection, and secure access controls.

  • Experience with scripting and automation for Microsoft 365 administration (PowerShell preferred).

  • Proficient in operational troubleshooting and administration of Microsoft 365 services.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain identity and messaging concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Collaborate across infrastructure, security, and application teams.

  • Demonstrate accountability, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset.
