NN Life Japan was established in 1986 and specializes in providing life insurance solutions for small and medium‑sized businesses and their families. Over recent years, NN Life Japan has been progressively modernizing its technology platforms and ways of working to better serve customers, agents, and partners.
Building on this foundation, NN Life Japan is launching Luna, a multi‑year business and technology transformation program. Luna aims to introduce modern, future‑ready systems that improve service levels, reduce operational complexity and cost, increase scalability, and enable better customer and agent experiences—while future‑proofing the business.
We are seeking experienced Product Owners with strong domain knowledge in Insurance, particularly across Finance, Product, and Sales, who are motivated to contribute to large‑scale transformation in a complex enterprise environment.
【職務内容/ Job Description】
As a Product Owner (PO) in the Transformation Division, you will play a key role in delivering part this strategic program. You will lead a cross‑functional product or squad team, working closely with business and technology stakeholders to maximize customer and business value. Your responsibilities include owning and prioritizing the Product Backlog, promoting strong collaboration, and ensuring delivery of high‑value features, enhancements, and necessary fixes.
We are seeking experienced Product Owners with strong domain knowledge in Insurance, particularly across Finance, Product, and Sales, who are motivated to contribute to large‑scale transformation in a complex enterprise environment.
Key Accountabilities:
• Leads squad team to plan and deliver part the transformation program
• Owns and drives product outcomes to maximize customer and business value.
• Contributes to and clearly communicates product vision, objectives, and priorities.
• Plans and prioritizes product backlog
• Acts as a servant leader for the squad, empowering the team and removing impediments.
• Provides transparency on progress, risks, issues, and delivered benefits.Owns and drives product outcomes to maximize customer and business value.

【経験・資格/ Qualification (Experience/ Certification)】
＜Must＞
• Japanese insurance domain knowledge in either Product, Sales of Finance
• Understanding of end to end product development (discovery, design, delivery).
• Demonstrated problem solving, decision making, and strategic thinking capability.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels.
• Ability to see the big picture and align product outcomes to broader business goals.
• High ownership mindset with strong prioritization, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Bilingual Japanese / English communication skills.
