LTO IIPosition Overview
Responsibilities: - Transporting a pallet by fork lift to and from locations. - Complete paperwork as required. - Wrap and band hard surface/carpet tile materials prepared on pallets. Prepare and package miscellaneous items in boxes for shipment. - Tape and repair any damaged packaging. - Attendance is an essential function of the job you must comply with the corporate absenteeism and tardiness policy. - Must adhere to our normal work schedule, i.e. starting and stopping times, and where applicable rotating days. - Must assist in keeping shipping/receiving area clean. - Must be able to read, write and comprehend shipping documents, bin locations, and store orders. - Must be able to perform simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). - Will train to operate all hard surface/carpet tile powered industrial equipment. - Will work with the rebuilding of pallets and in product rework (as required). - Train on breaking down and building of hard surface/carpet tile pallets. - Must be able to work necessary overtime including weekend. - Must be able to see small numbers and words as displayed on the computer screen. Requirements: - Must be able to meet Ergonomic requirements for power industrial trucks (on and off truck and able to reach all controls, pedals and computer screen) - Must be able to sit on lift/turret truck for entire shift. - Must be able to stand on order picker/stand up lift for the entire shift. - Must be able to mount/dismount lift truck on an average 15 times per hour. - Must pass eye exam given by company nurse. - Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that may be hot or cold. - Must be able to bend and lift or maneuver up to 100 lbs., up to 20 times an hour for 8 hours. - Ability to reach into rack and pick box off of front stack of boxes, while maintaining both feet on floor of turret truck. - Ability to operate turret truck (while standing) of heights exceeding 25’ for entire shift. - Maintain defined productivity rate.Work Shift
