[What the role is]

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our dynamic Traffic and Road Operations Group. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and renewing Road and Traffic assets to ensure a safe environment for road users. You will contribute to the upgrading and renewal of Road & Traffic Assets and be involved in securing budget, tender & contract procurement, and management, keeping sight on projects’ progress. You should also be continuously exploring, reviewing and implementing new technologies and methodologies that are beneficial to our asset management roles.

[What you will be working on]

  • Support the review of asset renewal plans for road assets by collecting and organising relevant data about asset conditions, lifespan, and spare parts availability

  • Assist in project planning by maintaining project budget, timelines and coordinating with contractors and suppliers

  • Participate in meetings with operations and maintenance teams to document their requirements and feedback

  • Help compile tender specifications by gathering technical requirements from various teams

  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular status updates

  • Apply basic engineering principles to support problem-solving for asset renewal challenges

  • Document and maintain records of operational limitations, challenges, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) from various project phases

  • Collect and organise learning points from past maintenance projects

  • Support engagement with maintenance counterparts to learn about industry practices

  • Help identify maintenance improvement opportunities by gathering feedback from ground teams

  • Keep track of new maintenance technologies and methodologies through research and documentation

  • Support the team in organising proof-of-concept trials for new technologies by coordinating with vendors and internal teams

[What we are looking for]

  • Knowledge in Information Technology/Computer Science/Engineering or relevant disciplines.

  • Experience in managing a full system development and implementation lifecycle.

  • Ability to work independently and perform night works when required.

  • Familiarity with ICT applications in infrastructure management
