[LTA-TRO] EXECUTIVE/ ENGINEER, TRAFFIC & STREET LIGHTING[What you will be working on]
We are seeking a dynamic professional to manage and analyse data from our smart street lighting system which monitors the health of our various street lighting and commuter facilities lighting infrastructure. This role involves developing automated solutions by providing data-driven insights to improve the division's system performance and service delivery. The role also involves managing the maintenance contractor for project/operations & maintenance works for ~35,000 field equipment.
Develop and implement automated response systems for data driven analysis to better street and commuter facilities lighting
Create and maintain a comprehensive smart street lighting performance classification system
Design and manage interactive dashboards to visualise fault trends, response times, and resolution rates
Analyse fault patterns to identify recurring issues and areas for service improvement
Prepare regular reports with actionable insights for senior management
Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely resolution
Manage project lifecycles for street lighting infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure phases
Coordinate operations and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
Liaise with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver project objectives effectively
Monitor project progress and implement corrective measures when necessary to maintain project schedules
[What we are looking for]
Knowledge in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
Preferably 1 year of engineering experience, ideally with project management exposure
Experience or knowledge in project management methodologies and operations & maintenance processes
Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in data visualisation tools (eg: Tableau, Power BI) and data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python (preferred)
Hands-on experience with automation and workflow management systems
Organised, detail oriented and strong problem-solving skills
Proactive problem solver and team player
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong project coordination and stakeholder management abilities
Familiarity with public sector operations is a plus
Ability to work under pressure and deal with sensitive matters
