[What the role is]

Deputy/ Assistant Programme Manager, LTA Academy (LTAA)

The LTAA is a division within the Learning Office, under the Land Transport Authority. The Academy’s vision is to be a leading global institution on land transport, with a mission to enhance the culture of learning and to deliver competency-based training for LTA officers and the industry.

This Deputy/ Assistant Programme Manager position resides within the Academy’s Programmes Management team, established to lead the development of training interventions, with strong oversight and management of training programmes.

[What you will be working on]

  • You will be part of the programme administration and management team within the academy that organises and delivers internal training for LTA staff and the land transport industry. This involves collaborating with key stakeholders such as in-house specialists, other Public Sector agencies, local and foreign Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs), professional associations and training providers.
  • You will assist in using  data analytics to report training effectiveness of programmes, return of investment on training, trainer and resource management.
  • You will be involved in the promoting of self-directed learning Familiarity with managing and use of Learning Management Systems will be advantageous.
  • You will assist in  keeping abreast of latest learning technologies (e.g., VR/AR/MR).

[What we are looking for]

  • At least 2-3 years’ experience working in a training environment.
  • Well-grounded in the theory and practice of training and development - experience in managing the whole training spectrum from programme development to programme delivery and evaluation.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team, and with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good networking, analytical and communication skills.
