[LTA – FIN] ASSISTANT MANAGER, ASSET SERVICES (1-YEAR LCT)

[What you will be working on]

    We are seeking a dynamic finance professional to join our Asset Services team at LTA. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to Singapore's transport infrastructure development through fixed asset management at LTA.

    You will play a vital role in managing LTA's large scale asset portfolio, working across diverse infrastructure projects including MRT lines and asset renewal programmes. This role offers exposure to the full asset lifecycle, from capitalisation of newly commissioned projects to disposal of retired assets. You will also be a business partner to stakeholders across engineering, contracts, and project teams.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Asset Capitalisation & Cost Reviews: Work with project and contracts teams to review asset costs and perform capitalisation for commissioned infrastructure projects in SAP. Support timely year-end closing activities to ensure accurate financial reporting.
       

    • Business Partnering & Advisory: Serve as the trusted advisor to LTA divisions on asset management matters including asset creation, transfers, disposals, and compliance with financial policies and accounting standards.
       

    • Annual Reviews & Exercises: Support the annual Asset Impairment review and Fixed Assets Confirmation (FAC) exercises, working with multiple stakeholders to ensure accuracy of LTA's asset records.
       

    • Month-End Operations: Execute business-as-usual asset operations including month-end closing and performing reconciliations.
       

    • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes through automation, policy reviews and streamlined workflows.

    [What we are looking for]

    • Knowledge in Accountancy, Finance, or related fields.
       

    • Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience preferred.
       

    • Knowledge of SAP, data analytics/visualisation tools & Robotic Process Automation (RPA) will be an added advantage.
       

    • Meticulous with numbers and competent in Microsoft Office applications.
       

    • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex financial matters clearly to non-finance audiences.
       

    • Proactive problem-solver who takes initiative to improve processes.
       

    • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
