Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Ashley Wellness Center (Casual/On-Call)

Location: Arcadia, WI
Status: Casual/On-Call (No benefits, no guaranteed hours)

Position Overview:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Ashley Wellness Center provides nursing care for patients and families under the supervision and direction of an RN or provider. This role requires flexibility and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality care in accordance with Gundersen Health System standards, ANA guidelines, and the Nurse Practice Act.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), and administer prescribed treatments after verification.

• Contribute to patient assessments through data collection; observe and report changes in patient status.

• Follow the patient’s plan of care and perform delegated tasks within scope of practice.

• Reinforce teaching initiated by RN or provider, considering patient/family readiness to learn.

• Document all care accurately and timely, in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with health team members to meet patient needs.

• Ensure patient safety and maintain regular, predictable attendance.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• Required:

  • Post-high school education qualifying for LPN/LVN boards.

  • Current LPN license in the state of practice.

  • Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross.

• Preferred:

  • 6 months of experience as an LPN or in a healthcare setting.
