The Senior Analyst, Loyalty Strategy & Program Analytics plays a critical role in shaping the economics, design, and performance of the Choice Privileges loyalty program. This role provides insights that inform reward night pricing, points economics, tier design, and member engagement strategies. The Senior Analyst partners closely with Loyalty Strategy, Partnerships, Revenue Management, Finance, and Marketing to evaluate member behavior, quantify tradeoffs, and support data-driven decision-making. This role is highly analytical and hands-on, with a strong focus on SQL-based analysis, dashboards, and storytelling.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Loyalty currency & program economics analytics
Analyze points earning and redemption behavior, including issuance, redemption velocity, and breakage patterns, to support sustainable loyalty program economics.
Build and maintain analytical models that evaluate the cost, value, and behavioral impact of loyalty currency across member segments.
Support forecasting and monitoring of loyalty-related financial metrics, including points liability and redemption trends.
Reward night & pricing analytics
Provide analytical support for reward night pricing, including static, dynamic, and seasonal pricing structures.
Evaluate redemption demand, elasticity, and booking behavior to identify opportunities to improve reward night availability, engagement, and profitability.
Partner with Revenue Management and Loyalty Strategy to assess tradeoffs between paid demand, reward demand, and inventory utilization.
Member behavior, engagement & tier analytics
Analyze member lifecycle behavior, including acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and churn, with a focus on how loyalty currency and benefits influence behavior.
Support program benefits design through financial and behavioral modeling.
Measure the impact of loyalty initiatives (e.g., promotions, bonuses, new benefits) on incremental bookings, frequency, and long-term member value.
Experimentation & performance measurement
Design and analyze tests and pilots related to loyalty pricing, promotions, and engagement strategies.
Quantify incremental impact versus subsidized behavior and translate findings into clear recommendations.
Develop dashboards and recurring reporting that track loyalty performance, member behavior, and program health.
Decision support & storytelling
Translate complex analyses into concise, decision-ready insights for senior leaders.
Prepare executive-ready materials that clearly articulate tradeoffs, risks, and opportunities.
Serve as a trusted analytical partner to Loyalty Strategy and cross-functional stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Employment Experience
2+ years in travel loyalty analytics, revenue management or loyalty program management strongly preferred
Experience analyzing customer behavior, pricing, promotions, or program economics in a data-rich environment.
Technical Skills
Advanced SQL skills (Redshift) with experience querying and analyzing large datasets
Strong experience building dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and scenario analysis.
Familiarity with experimentation and A/B testing frameworks.
Exposure to loyalty platforms, reservation systems, or CRM data is a plus.

Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field required. Master’s degree in related field strongly preferred.
Analytics and financial certifications a plus but not required.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $75,553 - $88,886.
