What is the opportunity?

The Longevity Specialist serves as the first point of contact for advisors seeking longevity related guidance.  The role ensures seamless, compliant navigation across the 4 pillars of wellness - physical, cognitive, social and financial.  Acting as an information and co-ordination hub, the Specialist enhances advisor productivity, improves client experience, and enables early identification of aging related risks and opportunities.  This role ensure that every client/advisor receives the right support, at the right time through a structured and seamless process

What will you do?

You will be responsible for;

Needs identification and intake assessment

  • Leads structured intake conversations using an approved longevity needs assessment
  • Identifies advisor/ client needs related to independence, mobility, caregiver stress, cognitive changes, home safety, social connection, and lifestyle transitions

  • Evaluates urgency, risk level and appropriate support path for resources and/or services

Scope & Risk Assessment

  • Determines where the client enquiry falls - contextual support or external partner support (or other)

  • Ensures no medical, diagnostic, or clinical advice is provided

Navigation Routing and co-ordination

  • Directs the advisor to the appropriate next step and ensures timely calls and meetings are scheduled as required

Post meeting support

  • Provides advisors with a concise summary to support efficient follow up and proactive planning conversations

Insight Gathering and Reporting

  • Ensures all actions remain strictly educational, navigational, and non-clinical

  • Identifies trending client needs to inform advisor education and product strategy

  • Reports key themes to leadership to strengthen the firm’s longevity offering (new opportunities, partnerships, and services)

Curate and maintain a national longevity resource network

  • At a national and regional level, identifies and maintains resources/support and identifies gaps/opportunities

Client Experience

  • Acts as a warm, supportive first touchpoint, normalizing aging related questions and strengthening trust with the advisor team and client

  • Tracks next steps, follow up timelines and handoff quality to ensure clients don’t fall through gaps

What do you need to succeed?

Must haves:

  • University degree in related health care field (Kinesiology, Social Service Work, OT Aid, Physio, Nursing) with familiarity with aging issues, cognitive health and elder care systems

  • High comfort collaborating with advisors, clients and families

  • Exceptional listening / interviewing skills and ability to facilitate sensitive conversations and translate complex client narratives into clear assessments

  • High empathy and emotional intelligence

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of competence and attention to detail

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$67,000.00 - $110,000.00
