The F135 Sustainment Supply Chain Management (SCM) team is looking for a F135 Logistics Transportation Manager that will provide logistics support for F135 fleet sustainment activities starting with the creation of a stock transfer order through delivery and receipt of material. You will coordinate with multiple parties in our distribution enterprise including global warehouses, freight forwarders, as well as domestic and international customers. You will also monitor and modify the transportation network and processes based on measured performance.

As the LTM Manager, you will be pivotal in developing and maintaining efficient and compliant transportation lanes for F135 engines, modules, mini-modules, line replaceable components (LRCs) and other material as needed to support US, partner nation, and foreign military entities.

What You Will Do

  • Complete transportation related transactions in SAP for customer orders

  • Coordinate and maintain a working relationship with the Joint Deployment Distribution Enterprise, a partnership between the Defense Logistics Agency and United States Transportation Command, to ensure smooth and efficient deliveries

  • Coordinate with internal and external customers for logistics solutions to support F135 sustainment activity including unit and depot level activity in a global environment

  • Identify, monitor, and control process improvement data to improve transportation related activities

  • Monitor performance and metrics of transportation related activity

Qualifications You Must Have

  • BS/BA degree

  • 8 years of Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Logistics Management experience, or an Advanced Degree with 5 years of Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Logistics Management experience

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship

Qualifications We Prefer 

  • Familiarization with US TRANSCOM and DLA transportation organizations and regulations relevant to transportation within the Department of Defense transportation network

  • Import/Export experience with EAR and ITAR regulated material

  • In-depth knowledge of PW/RTX internal supply policies, practices, and standard work proficiency in the complete range of SAP spares-related transactions are highly desired

  • Good analytical and communication skills are a must. Able to organize, logically analyze, and present information from several info systems.

  • Current active security clearance or the ability to obtain one

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
