Job Summary

The Logistics Trainee will gain foundational experience in various aspects of supply chain and logistics operations within a manufacturing environment. This role provides an opportunity to learn and contribute to the efficient flow of materials, inventory management, and distribution processes.

Job Responsibilities

* Assist with the coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments, including data entry and documentation.
* Support inventory management activities, such as stock checks, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
* Learn and apply company procedures for warehousing, material handling, and storage optimization.
* Participate in the analysis of logistics data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
* Communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments regarding delivery schedules and material status.
* Support the preparation of reports related to logistics performance, inventory levels, and shipping activities.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies related to logistics and warehouse operations.
* Perform other duties as assigned to support the logistics department.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
* Prior internship or relevant coursework in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
