Position Summary:
The Logistics & Supply Chain Security Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting logistics control tower data to identify security risks, operational anomalies, and emerging threats across the global logistics network. This role leverages shipment visibility tools, transportation data, incident trends, and vendor performance metrics to drive informed security decisions. The analyst will partner with logistics, warehouse operations, the Control Tower, transportation providers, and security leadership to translate data into actionable intelligence and improve end-to-end supply chain controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor supply chain control tower dashboards and shipment visibility platforms for risk indicators, delays, and route deviations.
Analyze transportation, warehouse, and chain-of-custody data to identify security trends and vulnerabilities.
Review shipment value, routing, and carrier performance to determine appropriate risk controls.
Develop recurring dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting for leadership reviews.
Perform trend analysis on theft, loss, tampering, and diversion incidents.
Identify patterns across locations, carriers, warehouses, and transportation lanes.
Support real-time escalation workflows by triaging alerts from control tower systems.
Partner with regional teams to investigate anomalies and suspicious activity.
Create data-driven recommendations to improve security controls and SOPs.
Maintain reporting on risk tiers, shipment volumes, and control effectiveness.
Support audits and compliance reviews through data validation.
Present findings and insights to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in supply chain analytics, logistics operations, risk analysis, or security operations.
Experience with control tower tools and shipment visibility platforms.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with analytics tools.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends in large datasets.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into business risk language.
Salary Range
