Logistics Specialist
This role would require an individual to work in Logistics where needed, we are a small team of motivated individuals who carry out many tasks. We are the beginning and ending point of operation in a manufacturing/service warehouse. We are responsible to ensure our customers complete satisfaction and to meet their needs. Safety for all employees is very important, and we strive to provide a safe and clean work environment.
Location: Duluth, GA
Salary range: $59,000-$63,000
Primary responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Unpacking and packing sensitive electronic instrumentation in manner to ensure its safety
- Entering information precisely into Salesforce CRM software
- Accurately identifying and inventorying items and accessories received
- Entering information into ERP system, SAP knowledge a plus
- Communicating with customers by email or phone
- Using FedEx and UPS software
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area
- Put away stock
- Perform cycle counts for inventory accuracy
- Use AES
- Domestic and International shipping
- Processing of Demo Rental Equipment
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years’ experience in Logistics
- Must read, write, and speak English
- Ability to multitask, adapt to changing environment
- Domestic and International shipping experience
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of AES (automated export system)
- Requires high level of professional ethics and appreciation of teamwork
- Must be willing to cross train in all functions of logistics
- Experience with - Shipper's letter of Instruction (SLI)
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Be willing to do tasks that are needed to maintain an effective incoming and outgoing schedule to meet strict deadlines
