Logistics Specialist

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating and planning all aspects of the logistic supply chain operation within the specified area, including supplier compliance, warehousing, and goods delivery to the rig or other nominated destinations. This role involves close coordination with Freight Forwarders and internal stakeholders to ensure safe execution and alignment with business requirements. Effective communication, adherence to core values, and meeting set objectives and KPIs are essential aspects of the role.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Act according to Noble’s set of core values
  • Being part of the logistics team that will provide services in Noble Corporation to support daily operations
  • Planning and executing logistics request from internal stakeholders
  • Ensure correct and sufficient documentation for all shipments – utilization of IFS and shipping docs
  • Driving complex end to end logistics solutions for internal stakeholders LS is working with
  • Planning and executing logistics globally, meeting KPIs, ensuring complete shipments in IFS, providing correct and sufficient documentation on all levels
  • Ensure trade compliance rules, regulations and laws are adhered to
  • Negotiation and approval of freight charges from 3PL providers ensuring transport costs are competitive in relations with local market level and align with global agreements
  • Coordinate assigned air and ocean operational and/or project shipments with appointed third- party logistics providers (3PL).
  • Collaborating and connecting with colleagues and suppliers through projects, meetings, business and market reviews
  • Communicate effectively with regional counterparts and internal stakeholders regarding status of air and ocean shipments.

 

Our Requirements:

  • Preferred 5 years of experience within International Logistics
  • Strong written and verbal English
  • Experience in global air, ocean and ground including out of gage moves (in complex)
  • Understanding of FCPA, UKBA and OFAC provisions
  • Good understanding of trade compliance and custom requirements and willingness to obtain knowledge of unknown areas
  • Experience in negotiating rates, planning and execution on project shipments (OOG)
  • Good communication skills and solution-oriented mindset
  • Operational knowledge of ERP Systems (IFS would be an asset)
  • Ability to mitigate potential risks in the logistic operations
  • IT literate, ERP knowledgeable with IFS and MS Office
  • Willingness to learn with mindset to improve and support
  • Ability to be proactive in communication with stakeholders
