Pay: $70000 - $75000 + annual target bonus

Schedule: M - F; 7:30a - 4:30p

Logistics Project Manager - JLL 

 

What this job involves:

 
The selected candidate will be expected to manage multiple projects at one time in various phases of development and to meet or exceed established goals including on time execution of projects, data accuracy & client communications.  The candidate’s primary focus will be on the specific needs of the project, client, vendors, and other stakeholders but will also be required to support Team and Client initiatives for process improvement and personal career development.
 
The selected candidate will w
ork as part of the Logistics Team, assisting with the development of the scope and schedule for work and managing special programs/projects. You will track project milestones and schedule reported status regularly.
 

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Support the client on complex projects and assignments.
  • Proactively manage project-related issues on account or assignment.
  • Develop scope and schedule for assigned projects.
  • Document all daily/weekly/monthly milestones.
  • Coordinate activities of teammates and support vendors to meet project goals.
  • Prepare/update project status reports, process purchase orders and invoices, update tracking reports and maintain files for due diligence and financials.
  • Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Professional planning and hands on management/oversight for multiple projects.
  • Manage multiple projects at various phases and in various locations, from project identification through planning, client approval, project execution and project completion.
  • Demonstrate full accountability for end-to-end management of projects.
  • Provide weekly project activity updates to Operations Manager for Project Schedule and Risk and provide activity updated for same into Client’s Project primary contact.
  • Apply top tier project management skills during client interactions to decipher client needs and develop project goals and scope of work.
  • Manage vendors (e.g., shipping partners, tradeshow partners, logistics/storage partners ) to ensure full compliance for both company and client policies and procedures.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years' experience related to logistics coordination, warehouse operations or inventory control
  • 2-3 years' experience with basic project management and practical experience in warehouse inventory control/logistics operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Applications
  • Understanding of inventory control processes
  • Familiarity with general warehouse operations
  • Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive-level external and internal clients
  • Organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management experience in logistic, trade show operations, inventory management and warehouse operations

Estimated compensation for this position:

70,000.00 – 78,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
