Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Logistics Planner (Level 2 or 3) to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals in Melbourne, FL.
You shall review, analyze, prepare, and modify provisioning data, and provide guidance in the preparation of Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) and related data in accordance with Northrop Grumman procedures. This provisioning data will be used to identify, select, catalog and determine support material requirements, and in the development of the following: Provisioning Parts List and design Change Notifications. You shall also provide support for modifications, reviews, and updates to any of the above existing lists. You shall attend and support provisioning meetings and conferences and perform other functions as directed. Position requires an organized, detail-oriented, self-starting individual who can work both, independently and in a team-oriented environment. You must also be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have the ability to follow strictly defined processes.
This Position May be offered at a Logistics Planner (Level 2) or a Principal Logistics planner (Level 3)*
Basic Qualifications Logistics Planner:
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management and or experience as a qualified mechanic, technician, or operator in a technical field such as aircraft, ship, missile, or space systems; OR Masters Degree and 0 years experience.
Basic understanding of aviation maintenance processes and aircraft systems of a modern military aircraft.
Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and system description documents.
Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.
Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.
Basic Qualifications Principal Logistics Planner:
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management and or experience as a qualified mechanic, technician, or operator in a technical field such as aircraft, ship, missile, or space systems; OR Masters Degree and 3 years experience; OR PhD and 1 year experience.
Basic understanding of aviation maintenance processes and aircraft systems of a modern military aircraft.

Preferred Qualifications for Both Levels:
Active Top Secret Clearance.
Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field.
Previous Provisioning experience.
Understanding of the DOD Provisioning systems and how they function (EAGLE, SLIC, Mil-STD-1388).
Experience navigating in Haystack, FEDLOG, or WEBFLIS or similar government tools.
Understand maintenance concepts related to provisioning documentation and have experience developing an indentured PPL and DCN for submission to a customer.
Have experience using 3D CAD modeling experience in NX, CATIA, or similar CAD programs.
Have experience with Common Product Life Cycle Management (CPLM) programs.
