The Logistics Officer is responsible for managing import and export activities for industrial equipment, complete projects, and spare parts (Aftermarket – AM). This role ensures compliance with Thai customs regulations, optimizes freight costs and shipping time, prepares accurate logistics documentation, and supports internal audits, reporting, and continuous improvement in logistics processes.
Manage import of industrial equipment for projects and spare parts for Aftermarket (AM).
Manage export of complete turnkey projects and spare parts for AM.
Prepare and review all required shipping, customs, and trade documents (Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, COO, etc.).
Prepare and manage Free Trade Agreement (FTA) documentation to ensure duty optimization.
Liaise with customers’ logistics counterparts to coordinate shipments and resolve issues.
Maintain close working relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers.
Liaise with the Thai Customs Department to ensure compliance and smooth clearance.
Request, compare, and negotiate quotations to identify the best freight rates among multiple freight forwarders.
Support basic sourcing activities related to logistics and transportation services.
Stay trained and up to date on the latest logistics, customs, and trade regulation changes in Thailand.
Update and maintain Logistics ISO documentation and procedures.
Ensure logistics processes comply with internal/group policies and external regulations.
Maintain and archive weekly and monthly shipping documentation for finance and audit purposes.
Prepare logistics reports and KPIs related to cost, delivery performance, and compliance.
Support internal and external financial and ISO audits as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience in import/export logistics, preferably for industrial equipment or project-based shipments.
Basic or intermediate English skills (reading, writing, and communication).
Knowledge of Thai customs regulations, import/export procedures, and FTA usage.
Experience working with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
Strong documentation, coordination, and organizational skills.
Proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP systems (e.g., Workday, SAP) is an advantage.
