Logistics Office Coordinator (Cycle Counter)

In this role you will:
• Be responsible to receive and prepare loads for shipping in adherence to the Job Element/Work Instructions and Standards.
• Check in drivers for pickups and deliveries in accordance with Job Element/Work Instructions and Security Standards.
• Manage and execute yard management using DY +, including trailer seals, paperwork.
• Able to do shift work of 12:30pm to 12:30am & 12:30am to 12:30pm shift with 3/3/3 cadence on a 7-day rotation.
• Operate all motorized equipment (Forklift truck, Shunt truck) in accordance to Job Element/Work Instructions, Safety Standards, and licensed forklift training.
• Understand safety precautions and use of dock locks, wheel chock, safety unload straps and Global Wheel Locks (GWL)
• Compliant to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements.
• Perform cycle counts of raw materials and finished goods in compliance with Standard and Job Element/Work Instructions. Report, Identify any cycle count discrepancies, reconciliation as per work instructions and standard.
• All goods shipping and receiving are visually inspected for any evidence of defect, identify, completing appropriate documentation and forms in accordance with the Job Element/Work Instructions.
• Complete trailers, shunt truck, forklifts pre-inspection checklists as per Job Element instructions and Standards (is there a pre-inspection for the “shunt truck” as well? If listing these out, may want to include that as well). The pre-inspection checklists will ensure safe operations; verifies it meets K-C quality standards and complies with OHSA.
• Perform operator maintenance tasks as assigned for motorize vehicles, docks, and warehouse in adherence to Job Element Instructions and Standards.
• Utilize all systems for warehouse (Warehouse Management System), yard management (Dynamic Yard +) and ERP systems (SAP) and other systems/software applications/platforms as designated.
• Other tasks designated by management.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a at least 1 year of Logistics experience. 2+ years is considered an asset.
• Good standing Ontario issued driver’s license, Certified forklift operator license.
• Ability to work in physically challenging environment with fluctuating temperatures, dust, long periods of standing, carrying up to 40lbs, heights and confined spaces. Follow PPE requirements as designated.
• Strong organizational, communication and time management skills.
• Strong Computer skills to perform daily tasks in DY+, WMS, SAP and other computer-based systems/platforms (Schedule Pro, Poka)
• Proficient math skills and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment and demonstrate safety mindset.

Starting Hourly Wage: $ $29.36 CAD
