Salary Range: $102415 - $197200 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Logistics Support Coordinator Branch (SP206) of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS.

Major Duties:

  • You will formulate and implement policy related to acquisition of U.K. supply system stock and allowances, inventory management, pricing criteria.
  • You will participate as a member of audit teams during Technical Evaluations and Command Inspections in UK logistics areas.
  • You will conduct reviews of existing and proposed Technical Arrangements (Logistics) which establish policy, authority and responsibility for the full scope of tasks for total life-cycle support of U.K. programs.
  • You will determine the resource requirements for government and contractor technical services, procurement of supply system material and test equipment, and transportation.
  • You will assist in developing transportation policy and provide written and oral guidance to the SSP community on critical UK transportation issues and concerns.
  • You will act as the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for the UK applicable portions of the SP206 Logistic Support Contract.
  • You will maintain and monitor the functional requirements of the Comprehensive Logistics Automated Support Program (CLASP), the automated U.S./U.K. database which provides the U.K. with logistics data and requisition status.
  • You will identify and provide input to SP206 Budget Financial Manager, Program Managers and Supervisors about any impacts, challenges, or shortfalls that would affect the ability to efficiently execute the UK mission.

Qualifications: For the NH-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: working as a Logistics Specialist supporting the acquisition and life-cycle support of a major weapons system; experience working under regulations or laws applicable to a full range of logistics management responsibilities. For the NH-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: working as a Logistics Specialist supporting the acquisition and life-cycle support of a major weapons system to include performing logistics planning, policy instruction updates, adjudication of findings from audits and evaluations, performance of required reviews, contractor oversight, budget formulation, and budget execution.
