Job Summary: You will serve as a Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (APML) located at Patuxent River, Maryland in the Sustainment Group, Sustainment Program Management & Analysis Dept of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Major Duties:

  • You will serves as the primary point of contact for all Fleet logistics and maintenance matters within the PMA-280 Tomahawk program at NAVAIR, Patuxent River, MD.
  • You will lead the Fleet Tomahawk Assets Integrated Product Team (IPT), providing logistics leadership, technical guidance, and oversight of the direct in-service support program.
  • You will be responsible for developing logistics inputs that inform future acquisition documentation and support equipment design, as well as for the planning, development, and execution of logistics program budgets.
  • You will oversee technical manual updates and distribution, as well as training program development and execution.
  • You will provide direct Fleet support, including 24/7 reach-back capability during combat operations.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (DS-05 =GS 12/13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following: 1) Managing junior logistics management specialists 2) Managing of Budget and Mateial Resources to include Financial controls, Spares, Support Equipment Resources, and the Sustainment Repair process. 3) Demonstrated experience with Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Technical Directives. 4) Managing all Integrated Product Support Elements across the total life cycle of a weapons system. 5) Experience in development and/or sustainment of a multi-service weapons system.
