Job Summary: You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the INTEGRATION MANAGEMENT DIVISON of NAWCTSD ORLANDO. ***This position has a control point of GS-13 Step 10. If selected, your salary will be set according to the established control points of this position which is $106,437 - $138,370

Major Duties:

  • You will assess and analyze reliability, availability, supportability, and affordability requirements to develop viable alternatives for supporting customer training system requirements.
  • You will identify and resolve complex technical logistics management integration problems and propose or review supportability related standards for the design, development, usage and implementation of training system solutions.
  • You will administer metrics and standards related to assigned logistics tasks.
  • You will recommend changes to acquisition, operations, support and maintenance management policies and processes.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing integrated logistics support tasks and work assignments to ensure aviation training system acquisition and/or sustainment program life cycle support requirements are developed and achieved; 2) Providing budget inputs, monitoring, and assessing the logistics program budget milestones; 3) Performing research and analyses necessary for the development, acquisition, installation, test acceptance, and integration of training systems solution required to meet user training requirements; 4) Utilizing procurement, design engineering, and systems engineering in order to develop acquisition and procurement packages; and 5) Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key individuals or groups; understanding what motivates them.
