Salary Range: $85307 - $132923 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist on the Supply Support Team within the E-2/C-2 Multi-Platform Fleet Support Team at the Fleet Readiness Center Southwest.

Major Duties:

  • You will be responsible for the logistics functions associated with managing supply support requirements.
  • You will Learn standard training and tools to aid program in their supply chain management efforts.
  • You will review supply support activities to include stakeholders such as Program Office, NAVSUP, DLA and associated supply support facilities.
  • You will research and analyze supply support cost information.

Qualifications: GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1. Assisting with supply support phases of assigned programs to meet the needs of the fleet/customer. 2. Communicating with leads to provide consultation to the FST on matters relating to supply support management. 3. Collaborating with teammates and communicating program risks in a timely manner 4. Offering insight to help develop, prepare and maintain FST Integrated Program Team (ITP) charters and Team Work Plans (TWP) 5. Supporting NAVAIR readiness and sustainment initiatives while contributing t their advancement concepts whenever possible. 6. Reviewing and analyzing budgets as they apply to supply support for assigned and planned aircraft/systems and equipment. GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: Handling supply support aspects/phases of assigned programs from concept exploration to disposal to satisfy the needs of the fleet/customer. Providing expert consultation to the FST on matters relating to supply support management. Advising the FST on supply support operations and provides adequate notification of problems and issues evolving from those operations. Communicating program risk to team leadership in a timely fashion. Briefing Navy officials regarding program supply support issues and represents FRCSW FST in informal level focus groups concerned with problems, issues, developments and innovations surrounding logistics management.
