Job Summary: This LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT OFFICER position, is located in the Logistics Readiness Squadron/Flight, Mission Support Group at an Air National Guard Wing and is part of the CA 144 FW.

Major Duties:

  • THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION. The primary purpose of the LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT OFFICER, GS-0346-12, is to serve as the Operations Officer of the Logistics Readiness Squadron/Flight. Functions as the technical advisor as well as the supervisor of logistics readiness operations including but not limited to: readiness; logistics planning; resource management; supply and transportation support; procedures and systems; etc. Provides training to unit members in the accomplishment of the tasks of the squadron/flight/mission. This Vacancy is being advertised concurrently with Technician Vacancy CA-12828361-AF-26-209. Only one of the announced positions will be filled. May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance.

Qualifications: General Experience: Possess experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field; Experience using computer and automation systems. LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT OFFICER, GS-0346-12: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-11 level, in: identifying activities involving logistical support operations; Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan; Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan; Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions; Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed; Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
