The Opportunity:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the efficient movement and storage of goods, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining accurate records. This role involves managing supply chain operations, inventory levels, transportation, warehouse activities, order processing, vendor relationships, and utilizing technology to streamline logistics processes. The coordinator will also focus on cost management and maintaining high standards of quality in all logistics operations.
Required Skills:
•Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with Polygraph
•Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members, suppliers, and customers.
•Excellent problem-solving abilities to quickly identify and resolve logistics issues and develop contingency plans.
•Teamwork orientation to collaborate with cross-functional teams and foster a positive work environment.
•Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation, inventory counts, and order processing.
•Proficiency in logistics software and technology (e.g., JIRA, Service Now).
•Ability to manage logistics information systems and ensure data accuracy.
•Strong documentation skills with experience writing standard operating procedures, guides, and manuals.
Qualifications:
•College Degree or equivalent work experience.
•Previous logistical experience or experience managing an office-like environment.
•Proven ability to monitor and control logistics-related costs while identifying opportunities for cost savings.
•Demonstrated skill in building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
