Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Logistics Management Analyst to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals in Palmdale, CA.

Roles and Responsibilities will include:

  • Control the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements.

  • Ensure that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to meet marketing and financial objectives.

  • Ensure the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions.

  • Build relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives. Integrate learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position.

  • Establish and direct maintenance training systems, conduct classroom, self-paced learning, and practical instruction to provide technical knowledge for the safe maintenance, repair, and operation of aviation associated systems, ground support equipment, tools, test equipment, and facilities, according to established procedures.

  • Provide formal instructor training to other Maintenance Trainers.

  • Analyze current operating problems and future operating requirements to identify training needs and develop training programs.

  • Write, edit, and sustain training material for instruction.

  • Provide guidance and supports all divisions in determining their training needs and developing and conducting their maintenance training programs.

  • Establishes and directs the maintenance of program wide training and qualification record system.

  • Maintains currency in technical developments, technical training, audiovisual techniques, and should be proficient in teaching methodologies.

You will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility.  There is no remote / hybrid / telework available for this position.  Travel up to 10% may be required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of Logistics, supply chain, or related experience; OR a Master’s degree and 0 years experience.

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI (with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.

  • Must be able to work in an approved environment during specified work hours and will frequently move and position objects weighing 30-50 lbs. overhead.

  • Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current applicable Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.

  • Experience in the use of SAP, ASAP System (BarCloud).

Primary Level Salary Range: $69,000.00 - $103,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
