Role responsibilities 

• Plan activities and direct subordinate staff to achieve optimum customer service levels.
• Plan activities and direct subordinate staff to ensure that manufacturing orders are planned in such a way as to optimize production flow, balance inventory and give good customer service.
• Optimize and maintain the ‘ordering rules’ (i.e., lead-time, order quantity, safety stock etc) to ensure that inventories are maintained at agreed levels.
• Plan Transport activities, review requirements and ensure that orders are placed as required in a cost-effective way.
• Direct staff to ensure that PPC data is accurately maintained (PO’s, spare orders, stock levels etc.,)
• Employee is obligated to keep all  processes  in terms of companies Integrated system
• To provide the Production Dept with components in the condition needed by the lines, at the right time and place through the warehouse function. Including pre-production / sub assembled parts.

Minimum Qualifications 

• Business Academy or other secondary (high school) education 
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer-related or logistics-related position 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
• Advanced level of English 
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, ERP systems)
