Job Description

Perform manual and clerical responsibilities related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products. May maintain necessary files and documentation. Use small hand tools and operate material handling equipment including fork lifts, skids, pallet handlers and hand trucks. Prepare and pack goods for shipment; loads and unload carriers. Unpacks and counts goods received. Routes materials to inspection, stores or other destinations. You will report to the Logistics Supervisor and work onsite in Cambridge, ON.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Sign for and unload incoming packages and freight using a forklift or pump cart.
  • Skill in inspecting incoming materials for damage or discrepancies.
  • Ability to receive purchase orders into an ERP system (Epicor or similar).
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
  • Store, move, and stage materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Inventory practices and ability to perform cycle counts.
  • Print pick lists, kit materials, and support production schedules.
  • Experience transferring, issuing, and staging materials to meet production timelines.
  • Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future for this job opening.
  • G driver's license and access to a vehicle. We'll have a company truck that the successful candidate will be required to drive from time to time.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • 1+ years experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge of Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations (Class 9 and 8 considered an asset).
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, Epicor.
  • Experience transporting materials between facilities using a company vehicle.
  • Familiarity with service collaboration across Production, Purchasing, and Quality teams.

This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation.

For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $38,960 - $58,440 with an annual target bonus of 4% of base salary. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
