Logistics Coordinator Poland and Czech Republic (m/f/x)

Position Purpose: The Market Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the efficient planning and organization of all warehousing and distribution activities supporting Zoetis' operations and executed by 3rd party service providers. Acts as liaison and primary contact for providers and business customer service and management teams.

Ensures external provider's compliance with established service level agreements, identified requirements and within established costs, aligned with Zoetis' policies, procedures, and standards while maintaining focus on continuous improvement activities and operational efficiency. Monitors financial performance to ensure taking

required corrective actions and achieving targets and strategies. This role manages Market delivery. He/she escalates appropriate issues to Cluster Logistics leader. He/she manages relationships with Market leadership, executing service level expectations for the respective Market. He/She further develops the capabilities and talents of his organization.

Responsibilities:

General:

  • Coordinate and ensure daily customer order fulfilment, according to established Service Level Agreements.
  • Keep constant interaction with customer service and marketing groups to inform results and gather business plans and intelligence.
  • Coordinate and ensure the import process
  • Coordinate the relabelling activities, where necessary
  • Coordinate the inventory transfer between satellites

LSP 'Imports/ Warehouse management

  • Work with the Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) to ensure inventory accuracy is maintained at established levels via execution of daily Book to Book reconciliation, cycle counts, annual physical inventory activities, analysis and reconciliations.
  • Coordinates with LSP general processes of inventory management as required: supports Quality sampling, provides obsolete items for destruction, repacking, re-labelling , code transfers, consignment inventory replenishment, returns, claims, etc
  • Ensures proper storage and handling of hazardous goods, controlled substances, temperature controlled, high value products or any other kind of item, following established procedures, regulations and corporate guidelines.
  • Ensures the appropriate use of warehouse management, distribution, transportation, reporting and/or any other system to achieve efficient operations and assuring proper system interfaces are in place between Zoetis, LSP, and any other required parties.
  • Manage customer service inquiries/complaints regarding distribution with the LSP and carriers.
  • Ensure all contracts and processes with the providers are up-to-date.
  • Coordinates with LSP relabelling activities
  • Plan and execute the materials acquisition for relabeling and warehouse operation
  • Coordinates with the Customs broker the import activities
  • Coordinates all the Purchase Order and invoicing processes for vendors Performance Management
  • Implementation, monitoring and reporting of relevant performance metrics (KPls) in compliance with established guidelines.
  • Takes corrective actions when needed to achieve targets
  • Performs budgeting and expense control activities, for Warehousing, transportation, imports and relabeling processes, keeping track of results to ensure adherence to objectives and strategies, and identifying opportunities for cost improvement projects (CIP) Compliance
  • Ensure consistent compliance with required regulations, policies and procedures, and Zoetis standards including e.g.: Financial -SOX FCPA Zoetis Operating Model Quality GDP compliance including cold chain monitoring
  • Keeps a comprehensive and updated set of SOP's and supports all types of Internal or external inspections and audits
  • operations (EH&S, dangerous goods, facilities and conveyance security, Business continuity) Trade and Customs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics Management, Operations Management or Supply Chain Management
  • Fluent both written and verbally in English.
  • APICS and/or Lean/six sigma training or certifications desirable.
  • 1-5 years of combined Supply and Logistics management experience is required in the below areas, working in the Pharmaceutical, FMCG, electronics, automotive, retail or other industries where understanding and alignment of final customer requirements with sales, marketing and finance, and with local and international suppliers of goods and logistic/transportation services is necessary:
    • Commercial relationships: +1 years experience in partnering with commercial teams, understanding requirements and supporting supply & logistics business needs.
    • Leadership or participating in S&OP processes with Sales, Marketing, Finance and other business functions.
    • Logistic Operations/Compliance: 1-2 years managing/supporting internal/external market warehousing, logistics & compliance activities, from a commercial market operation, an internal distribution centre, or a Logistics Service Provider company, including distribution metrics, costs management and operational compliance.
    • Financial: +1 years managing or supporting the Supply & Logistics budget cycle for several markets, expense tracking and reporting markets.
  • Proven ability to work in a complex international organization.
  • Strong team work orientation and leadership required.
  • Ability to work effectively in an environment of competing priorities. Must have demonstrated consultative, influencing, analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication, and presentation, data analysis and PC skills are required.
  • Ability to interact and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization and across geographies is imperative.
  • Additional cross functional, project and regional experience is valued: ERP/System implementations. · Implementation of New business/distribution models.
  • Logistics market knowledge relevant for the region (LSPs, transport, etc.). Exposure to business finance
