Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an individual with experience of working in a busy goods in/out department, supporting on stock management, warehouse organisation as well as administrative tasks to support the wider team. Please be aware that this role does require some manual handling
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be:
Booking in arrivals to our facility
Packaging consignments to despatch across the globe
Liaising with freight forwarders
Warehouse stock management and organisation.
Raising documentation to ship goods to our UK shipping partners.
Other activities as assigned by the department and/or site manager.
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will need:
A background in warehousing and/or logistics.
Experience of forklift operation preferred.
Good IT skills (MRP systems advantageous)
Good time-management and organisation skills
SKILLS:
Excellent communication, written as well as verbal.
Attention to detail
A can-do attitude and a team player
Flexible approach to work, adaptable and willing to assist in other areas as required.
