The Role We Are Proposing:
The Logistics & Regulatory Specialist is responsible for managing the shipment of goods, including CAE simulation products, mail, and general deliveries to both end customers and CAE global locations. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, maintains accurate documentation, and functions as the key resource for project managers on shipping execution and regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage international and domestic shipments (air, ocean, ground) for CAE products and materials.
Overside cargo experience, Road and Sea both local and international
Develop and execute internal and external transportation partnerships.
Ensure synchronization of information/material flow within the department.
Ensure that the necessary requirements are obtained to carry out the shipment with our approved carriers.
Transit Time analysis for multiple destinations, by all mode of transportations (Air, road, rail and sea)
CRD calculations
Provide shipping/training instructions to other departments as requested.
Interface with customs for international shipments. Resolve late delivery issues based on discussions with customs authorities.
Communicate weight and shipping costs to the right stakeholders.
Analyze shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders and other documents to determine shipping priorities, work assignments and shipping methods needed to meet shipping and receiving schedules, based on knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates.
Oversee shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and quality of shipments.
Prepare bills of lading (Bill of Lading).
Prepare Dangerous Goods documentation.
Coordinate day-to-day logistics activities required to transport products by commercial air/sea freight, international land, domestic and cross-border.
Coordinate outbound freight through external/3PL warehouses.
24/7 AOG Helpdesk.
Be a reference (SME) for the logistics team regarding tools, processes and logistics operations.
Validate HS codes and assist with export documentation accuracy.
Monitor basic compliance requirements and escalate risks.
Support initial steps in building customs & compliance processes.
Interface with customs brokers for international shipments and assist with documentation.

Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in Transportation Logistics or equivalent experience.
Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in logistics and international shipping.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
Knowledge of logistics tools (E.g., Maritime Traffic, CP & CN Rail tracking, EDI, TMS).
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
Power BI knowledge for reporting and dashboards.
SOP creation and improve is an assets
Bilingual in French and English (required).
