What You’ll Do

Transport Performance & Analytics

  • Build dashboards and analytical tools to track carrier performance and on‑time delivery.
  • Analyse transport costs (cost per lane, accessorial charges, demurrage/detention/dwell time).
  • Run deep‑dive root‑cause analyses on delays, service failures, and cost deviations—and propose preventive actions.
  • Model transport scenarios to support strategic decisions (network redesign, modal shifts, consolidation, carrier mix).

Warehouse Performance & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain dashboards for key warehouse KPIs (inventory accuracy, throughput, pick/pack, dwell time, cost per pallet, service levels).
  • Investigate operational issues such as mis‑picks, damages, delays, and stock discrepancies, and support corrective actions.

Supply Chain Excellence

  • Support the rollout of Supply Chain Visibility tools and control tower solutions.
  • Use AI and machine‑learning techniques to build predictive models and improvement tools.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to improve service levels and operational efficiency.
  • Structure data, set up reporting, and drive LOTIF and transport performance improvements.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

Cost Optimization

  • Analyse freight spend across regions, modes, and carriers to identify savings opportunities.
  • Review warehouse cost drivers (labour, storage, handling, VAS) to highlight efficiency gaps.
  • Benchmark 3PL performance and cost structures.
  • Build cost‑control tools to validate invoiced services vs. actual deliveries.

What You Bring

Must‑Have

  • Strong data‑crunching and analytical skills; experience with automated reporting and AI‑driven insights.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) plus SQL or similar.
  • Experience with AI/ML tools and automation.
  • Experience with SAP and TMS systems.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Understanding of transport regulations (ADR, IMDG, CLP) and chemical warehousing/safety requirements.

Nice‑to‑Have

  • Experience with network modelling tools (Llamasoft, Coupa, AIMMS).
  • Knowledge of sustainability metrics (CO₂ reporting, green logistics).
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification.
  • Exposure to S&OP or integrated business planning.
