Ecolab is seeking a Associate Logistics Analyst to join its transportation department. Under the direction of logistics leadership, you will be an analytical problem-solver, accountable for supporting processes with proven data collection and analysis skills. You will have the opportunity to identify and implement process improvements and receive recognition for elevating quality, service and savings metrics.
How you'll make an impact:
Monitor Carrier invoices blocked for payment and resolve the related problems, in order to ensure on-time payments
Analyse and compare Carrier invoices/reports about deliveries with contractually agreed prices, making sure they are aligned
Proactively find patterns in reoccurring issues and drive the change for a long-term problem resolution
Foster clear communication with your team and internal contacts to address service-related interests.
Develop close relationships with key vendors concerning contract terms, payments and service while complying with all safety and regulatory requirements.
Act as a subject matter expert and perform various activities such as account management, internal database maintenance.
Manage quality, service, and cost metrics. Regularly analyze and report on measured data while developing and implementing specific plans to achieve improvements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Strong problem-solving skills
Proactive attitude
Previous work experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain operations or a related field recommended but not essential
Knowledge in the area of finance, accounting or invoice management recommended
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Access
Preferred Qualifications (in addition to the minimum qualifications):
SAP experience
Previous working experience in an accounting field
Ability to exercise independent judgement, think critically and work well in cross-functional teams
