Position Overview

We are seeking a Relief Emergency Veterinarian to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for veterinarians who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy practicing high-quality emergency medicine with the support of strong technical staff and boarded specialists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide urgent and emergency medical care to a diverse caseload

  • Perform diagnostics, develop treatment plans, and communicate effectively with clients

  • Collaborate with ER, GP, and specialty teams to ensure continuity of care

  • Maintain accurate medical records and uphold the highest standards of patient care

  • Assist with emergency surgeries and procedures as needed

Qualifications

  • DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school

  • Active veterinary license in CA (or ability to obtain one)

  • Previous emergency medicine experience preferred, but confident new graduates with ER interest are welcome

  • Strong communication skills, compassion, and a commitment to excellent patient care

  • Ability to adapt to a busy, fast-moving hospital environment
