Step into a busy, modern practice with a full schedule from day one. Southwood Dental is seeking a Locum Associate Dentist to support our team during a provider leave from January 5 to March 9, 2026. This short-term assignment offers a strong, steady patient flow, a fully staffed clinical environment, and the potential to transition into a permanent part-time or full-time role within our broader Southwood network.
You’ll work a consistent weekday schedule with alternating Saturdays:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Alternating Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (or 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM without lunch)
This locum covers all clinical responsibilities for the departing provider and ensures strong continuity of care for our patient base.
Southwood Dental is a well-established clinic located in a busy London plaza surrounded by rapid residential growth. The practice sees approximately 1,300 active patients and attracts 25+ new patients monthly, ensuring a steady pace and high demand. The clinic includes 3 operatories—two dedicated to the dentist and one for hygiene—and is supported by a stable, experienced CDA team.
The environment is modern, bright, and fully digital, equipped with Tracker PMS, iOS scanning, Pan/Ceph imaging, digital X-rays, Videa Health, and a paperless charting system. Patients benefit from convenient free parking and a welcoming, tight-knit team that prioritizes smooth workflows and excellent care.
You will have full autonomy to treat within your comfort zone and can expect a wide variety of cases, including:
Bread-and-butter dentistry
Basic endodontics
Simple and surgical extractions
Crown and bridge
Emergency dentistry
With strong patient flow and minimal downtime, this locum presents an ideal environment for dentists who enjoy consistent hands-on clinical time.
The departing dentist had consistent high production, and the incoming locum will inherit that full patient load. The clinic operates with balanced billing for CDCP patients.

About You:
Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process
Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
Valid CPR certification
