The opportunity 

Our High Voltage GIS factory in Saudi Arabia has gone through extensive expansions in terms of facility, production output and number of customer contracts over the recent period. The factory is one of the key factories within High Voltage Products serving to supply Gas Insulated Substations to ensure the development of the electrical grid in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

How you’ll make an impact

• LIL is the channel for OU to GPS. The LIL shall ensure that all global product changes are struc-turally implemented in the local unit on quality and on time.
• All product change notifications from the GPS will be addressed to LIL representative. LIL will set up a meeting with technical resources and decide how to address new changes in implementations in the organization.
• Set up and send out action through SAP system for each department which is affected. Follow up all actions and finally mark as completed.
• LIL is responsible for running the Transfer of Product (ToP) in the local unit.
• Be a member with the Global / Product Implementation Manager–PIM, when a new product is re-leased from R&D and shall be implemented in our OU.
• Support LPM & pre-qualification team in various pre-qualification activities
• LIL is also responsible for local changes where no global master data is adapted.
• Receives the latest input of new developments and triggers R&D activities via PCR requests from Saudi point-of-view in case a business case is given.
• All necessary local adaptations for implementing the change in a local unit (e.g., a change of local master data, supplier information, process adaptations – including P-FMEA, or user training)
• Coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and ensuring successful implemen-tation within set timelines.
• Develop and execute training programs for local teams to ensure smooth adoption of new product changes/features.
• Identify opportunities to enhance implementation efficiency & support continuous improvement ini-tiatives.
• Supports Design-to-Value cost optimization initiative and product cost tracking exercise.
• Provide technical advice in customer discussions during offering stage and if needed during Rou-tine Test activities in special cases.
• Monitor the quality cases in the product, suggest the improvements and be able to do the Root Cause Analysis for such cases.
• You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background 

• Bachelor / Master of Electrical / Mechanical Engineering Degree.
• MBA is preferable.
• Min. 3 Years’ experience with strong technical/product management background
• Good knowledge of Product Management.
• Excellent knowledge of HV Product Portfolio.
• Good knowledge of SAP.
• Keen in delivering quality deliverables.
• Good Team player & Task Management Skills.
• Self-driven without supervision.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Preferable previous work experience with production unit / factory structure.
• Substation product knowledge is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in both spoken and written English and Arabic language is required to communicate within global team and built relation to other units in global production network.
