Local Activities - Guest Relations Coordinator

As a member of the professional staff, contributes specialized knowledge and skill in a discipline (e.g. Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Information Resources, Operations Planning & Support, Sales & Marketing) area to support team and/or department business objectives. Generally, works under limited supervision, but within established guidelines, producing and analyzing more complex business information to assist in the decision-making process.

Specific Job Summary

To support the In-house team with all “heart of the house” guest service, including welcome calls, reservations, tee times, concierge fact sheets, stocking of materials, brochures, maps, etc.  Offer value-add guest services to ensure the teams hit their VPG and tour goals.  Ensure all guest expectations are met and exceeded.

Expected Contributions

•    Performs more complex quantitative and qualitative analysis for business processes and/or projects. Often manages small projects, business processes or parts of larger ones. 
•    Responds to, solves, and makes decisions on more complex/non-routine business requests with limited to moderate risk. 
•    Responsible for own work and contributing to team, department and/or business results. May direct work of non-management staff.
•    Assists more senior associates in achieving business results by:
o    identifying opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of business processes.


Expected Contributions

•    Keep track of personal progress and goals. Expand knowledge of business, self-motivation by reading and studying books related to your craft.
•    Maintain scheduling flexibility.  
•    Work with management to train, develop and/or identify challenge areas relating to personal area of performance.
•    Create positive team attitude as it applies to productivity and professionalism.
•    Impact guests in a positive manner to ensure experience exceeds their expectations.
•    Verbal communication is necessary for negotiating plans for projects.
•    6+ hours of deskwork, including telephone and computer activities.
•    Movement between several locations (Hotel, Villas, office) is required to deliver materials.

Specific Candidate Profile
 
•    High School Diploma required.
•    Minimum of one (1) year of experience in customer service, sales, or marketing.
•    Bilingual, ability to speak English and Spanish, fluently.
•    Organized, motivated and goal-oriented individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is a requirement.
•    Proficiency in computers – software knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are a requirement.
•    Demonstrate an ability to deliver high level of customer service in all situations.
•    Demonstrate the ability to build and develop strong work and guest relationships.
    Job Specific Computer Skills - Using computer hardware and software specific to job (e.g., MARSHA, PMS, SFA, NGS, Delphi, Point of Sale, HR technology).
    Mathematical Reasoning - The ability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly, correctly, and in a way that allows one to solve work-related issues.
    Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
    Writing - Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
