SUMMARY

The position of Loan Servicing Administrator services commercial real estate loans sold as participations to community banks and credit unions nationwide. This position is responsible for processing construction draws, escrow disbursing, coordinating loan closings, tracking loan covenants, invoicing, and processing payments. Serves as a primary contact for participant banks, borrowers and other members of the department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates with bankers, title companies, attorneys, and participant banks on loan closings, modifications, and payoffs.
  • Works with borrowers, participant banks, title companies, and vendors for construction loan and escrow disbursements.
  • Interfaces with participant banks on purchase of participation loans and drafts participation agreements/certificates.
  • Answers payment, documentation, and general questions from participant banks.
  • Works with accounting department on billing, payments, escrow and construction disbursements.
  • Interfaces with bankers regarding borrower requests for information such as transaction history, escrow balances and payoff requests.
  • Mentors and helps to train other members of the Loan Servicing department.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in either Business or Accounting preferred
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required
  • Experience in real estate and/or banking required

COMPETENCIES

  • Knowledge of commercial real estate mortgage documents and terms
  • General accounting knowledge
  • Knowledge of banking CIP requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with some advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

JOB EXPECTATIONS

This is a full-time position. Workdays are Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Regular and reliable attendance required.

COMPENSATION
Pursuant to the laws regarding job postings where the position is located, Colliers is disclosing the following information:
 

Approximate Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000
This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus

Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
