What You’ll Do

  • Monitors and processes loan requests and inquiries submitted in the Loan Operations mailbox such as loan payments, advances, maintenance and research including reconciling items from the loan control account.

  • Ensures proper booking and earnings of all loan fees/costs in accordance to Financial Accounting Standards and Financial Management policy.

  • Ensures that all transactions between the loan system and general ledger are balanced.  Research and resolve general ledger differences.

  • Process special handling accounts- over advance, protective advances, SWAP, SBA, etc.

  • Creates and processes payoff letters for all portfolios.

  • HELOC stop payments.

  • Reports SBA Colson Reporting monthly.

  • Exception reporting

  • Niche loan processing

  • SBA and participation processing and reporting

  • Resolving billing errors

  • Research and resolve complex requests

  • Provides customer service to external and internal customers.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in financial services

  • Must have significant experience with commercial loans

  • Must have significant back-office loan processing experience with commercial , residential and small business loans

  • Office or teller experience; loan operations and loan documentation experience a plus

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Advanced computer skills

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary range for this role is $50,000-$65,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
