What You'll Be Doing

  • Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing loads to ensure approved materials, proper documentation, and load security
  • Direct drivers to designated dumping or loading areas to support safe and efficient site flow
  • Accurately record load details, including material type, estimated volume or weight, and any discrepancies
  • Enforce site rules, safety procedures, and environmental requirements, reporting non‑compliant loads or incidents promptly
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, operators, and supervisors while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area

What Are We Looking For

  • Ability to accurately identify and differentiate materials with strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with others
  • Comfort working outdoors in varying weather and industrial environments
  • Basic ability to document information through record keeping or data entry
  • Understanding of workplace safety practices and consistent use of required PPE

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Verification of age will be required as a condition of employment. 

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
  • Winter hours are 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday to Friday and summer hours are 6:30am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 6:30am-12:00pm
