Bachelor's Degree/Equivalent in Business, Finance, Marketing, Mathematics, Computer Science, or comparable analytical discipline; master's degree preferred. Five (5) years of professional work experience in an analytical/quantitative business environment. Working knowledge of third and fourth generation computer languages such as Cobol, C, SQL, or SAS. Working knowledge of relational databases. International and air freight industry experience preferred. Knowledge of basic marketing functions. Good business judgment and decision-making skills. Good communication, analytical, and human relation skills. Fluency in English.

To provide complex quantitative international marketing expertise to regional management in the analysis of pricing, forecasting, competitive intelligence, market segmentation, and targeted marketing utilizing advanced quantitative and computer modeling techniques.
Leads in the development of both division and region planning and analyses via strategic analysis, forecasting, pricing, rate development, and market research, utilizing advanced computer modeling to influence LAC strategy and profitability.  Evaluates new business opportunities by interpreting competitive analysis and market intelligence, customer needs, and assessing competitor market position.  Evaluates the revenue and volume impact of new international flight schedules, pricing changes, customer value analysis, competitor actions, and product promotions.  Develops statistical reports to forecast, analyze, and track FedEx volumes and revenue by customer group, product, and country.  Automates essential reports utilizing appropriate computer languages, relational databases or OLAP tools such as SAS, C, Cobol, HOLOS, or ESSBASE.  Trains users in the above systems as necessary, enabling them to make effective use of information.  Provides management with frequent updates on the progress of all projects and presents recommendations to senior management.
