Pay: $21.35 per hour

Job description:

• Applicants will be considered for any general Live Hang labor type opening on shift posted.  Must be available to work overtime and weekends if required.  

• These positions require standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching with constant wrist, elbow, and shoulder movements. These positions work in a dusty, cold, damp hot, and humid environment with slippery surfaces.  

• Jobs are fast-paced and require repetitive motion. Some positions require lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 75+ lbs. 

• Selection will be based on seniority.

• Must abide by animal welfare policies and be able to work around live birds in a safe and respectful manner while maintaining Tyson's safety culture.

Requirements:

• Applicants must be able to work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for a visit to the facility.
• Prior Employee Waiting Period: If you were previously employed at Tyson, there’s a 180-day waiting period before you can reapply.
• Applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times are not eligible for rehire.
• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
