The Live Events and Entertainment Department is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as the Live Events & Entertainment Seasonal Assistant, beginning July 2026 and ending April 2027. This individual will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of planning and executing live events and game days, working primarily with Atlanta United while also assisting with Atlanta Falcons game days and Falcons Training Camp.
The Live Events & Entertainment Seasonal Assistant will take a lead role in working with various entertainment groups and fulfilling their matchday needs, as well as assisting with execution on event days. Additionally, this individual will oversee outdoor activations located on the Front Porch, which serves as the main entertainment hub for Atlanta United matchdays.
Hourly compensation is provided for this position (no more than 30 hours per week). Housing is not provided. Benefits and relocation expenses are not included.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning and execution of all matchday entertainment operations and events for Atlanta United, including pre-game and in-game promotions and entertainment.
- Assist with the planning and execution of outdoor activations on the Front Porch for all Atlanta United matchdays.
- Work across multiple internal departments to help execute departmental initiatives and needs.
- Collaborate with Atlanta United Marketing, Sales, and Corporate Partnerships departments to ensure all departmental needs are met.
- Contribute ideas for enhancing in-game entertainment and fan engagement.
- Coordinate the distribution of necessary credentials associated with sponsors, vendors, entertainment groups, and personnel, including tickets and parking passes.
- Develop matchday itineraries and logistics for entertainment groups, including matchday staff, vendors, national anthem performers, and color guard.
- Assist in the live presentation and production of third-party events (e.g., college bowl games) as assigned.
- Assist in daily operations of the Live Events Department, including administrative work, data entry, storage, and inventory management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Prior internships, volunteer work, or relevant experience in events and operations preferred.
Required Skills
- Must be able to work all home games and related events for Atlanta United and the Atlanta Falcons.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
