The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Littoral Combat Ship Hull Mechanical and Electrical/Subject Matter Expert Hull Manager
Responsibilities:
Provide Hull Mechanical and Electrical Systems design, technical and readiness support to the Littoral Combat Ship Program Office, NAVSEA PMS 321
Review design drawings, changes, ship specifications and verify that planned equipment installations and drawings are in accordance with contract requirements
Review items for technical accuracy, developing technical solutions to hull unique and class issues in coordination with NAVSEA and relevant ISEAs
Perform technical assessments, evaluating and advising the Program Office on system and equipment problems
Liaison with PMS 321 and other SEA 21 Offices, LCSRON and Type Commander Staffs, Planning Yard, and Regional Maintenance Centers in support of ship maintenance availabilities and modernization upgrades
Track and monitor the planning and accomplishment status of work packages to ensure the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual requirements for maintenance availability planning milestones are met
Monitor CASREPs, Departure from Specifications and Liaison Action Requests
Participate in Availability Planning Conferences, Configuration Control Boards, Risk Boards, Failure Review Boards and Safety Working Groups
Provide recommendations to government staff on maintenance availability and modernization priorities
Integrate in the LCS Life Cycle Assessment Team, researching system and equipment reliability issues towards a solution
Generate and provide routine modernization installation progress and financial reports to the Program Office
Perform additional related duties assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
US Citizenship
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Littoral Combat Ship, Freedom Variant hull mechanical and electrical experience, 5 years minimum experience
Navy Regional Maintenance Center and Planning Yard maintenance, modernization, and repair experience
Work independently with minimal direction
Spend multiple hours onboard ship in industrial environment monitoring modernization and repairs items
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$65,700 - $134,400
