Lifestyle Producer/MMJ – The Rhode Show

Are you creative, energetic, and ready to bring fresh ideas to life? The Rhode Show, Rhode Island’s premier morning lifestyle program, is looking for a Producer/MMJ to join our dynamic team. This is a fun, fast-paced role with opportunities to work inside a television station and on exciting location shoots.

We’re seeking someone with a proven track record of producing entertaining segments on food, fashion, beauty, and human-interest stories. If you thrive under deadlines, love storytelling, and can juggle multiple projects with ease, this is the job for you!

What You’ll Do

  • Work with manager to maintain quality control and creative direction for The Rhode Show.
  • Produce and time live segments for broadcast, streaming, and digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop out-of-the-box ideas that engage and entertain.
  • Shoot and edit lifestyle segments and assist with other station broadcasts.
  • Work closely with sales on client-driven content.
  • Assist with corporate and special projects content as assigned.
  • Contribute to the WPRI 12+ streaming app and leverage social media to promote content.
  • Book compelling guests, write scripts, and create visually engaging demos and packages.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, TV/Film, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years in television or radio production.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Position requires the operation of camera, camera equipment, computer and editing machine, and transport of equipment weighing up to 30 lbs. Work outdoors occasionally in all weather conditions and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions. Work may be conducted in varying lighting conditions. A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record are required.
