What you will do:
We’re looking for a strategic and data-driven Lifecycle Marketing and Automation Manager to own the execution and optimization of our email, push notification, and in-app messaging programs. This role will develop a unified customer engagement strategy across these channels, ensuring alignment with loyalty objectives and business goals.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in lifecycle marketing, personalization, and automation, with hands-on HTML experience for email execution. This person will play a critical role in optimizing real-time, triggered, and promotional campaigns across all direct marketing channels.
This is a hybrid position (3 days in the office per week). Office location is 1303 Yonge Street, Toronto.
Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end execution of email, push, and in-app campaigns, from strategy and creative development to deployment and reporting, while overseeing the campaign calendar to ensure strategic spacing across channels, prevent fatigue, and maximize impact, and ensuring proper segmentation and targeting for batch, triggered, and event-based campaigns.
Work within Braze Platform to build, test, and optimize email and push notification templates, edit and troubleshoot HTML email templates to ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-client compatibility, and implement dynamic content blocks and scripting for enhanced personalization in email and in-app messages.
Report on the effectiveness of communication channels in driving engagement, including email performance metrics, while championing A/B and multivariate testing to optimize engagement, conversion rates, and incrementality.
Qualifications:
Post-Secondary education in a related field (marketing, digital marketing, project management)
3-5 years of experience in email, push, or lifecycle marketing, preferably in a data-driven environment
Proficiency in HTML for email, with experience editing and troubleshooting email templates
Experience managing cross-channel marketing campaigns including email, push notifications, and in-app messaging
Experience in Braze Platform
Familiarity with Adobe Target is preferred
Understanding of email marketing fundamentals, including segmentation, personalization, deliverability best practices, and compliance regulations (e.g., CASL)
Familiarity with email marketing analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics) to track and analyze campaign performance metrics, derive insights, and optimize future strategies
Understanding of push notification and in-app messaging best practices including opt-in strategies, frequency capping and personalization
